With Wings 3
With Wings 2
Hello again!
I just learned that I need a separate blog post for each entry so here is this again!
My bright and cheery bumble bee with fun colors and some interesting dimension. This is headed to the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge, "With Wings".
Thanks so much,
With Wings
I was inspired to resurrect my blog with the current Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. I'm not an instagram person, so this is my only format for posting cards. It has been about a year since I've posted....I decided that I really didn't need a job, which is what this became. But here I am!
I have 3 cards to share consistent with the challenge "Things With Wings". As my friends know I don't do floral cards. I am a critter gal, but I also love doing bugs, butterflies, birds and airplanes so I thought this would be fun to enter. And revisiting my blogging skills isn't a bad idea.
This first card is a clean and simple one with an adorable water-colored birdie, a simple sentiment and some splatter.
This bumble bee is bright and cheery! I rarely use yellow, but I love the way color works on this card and it has fun dimension.
Again, I rarely make a mini-slimline but this design, using strips of cute paper, just needed to be this shape and size. Another fairly simple image and design.
I am happy to share these. I hope you are having a good New Year - we are one month closer to Spring!
Thanks for the visit,

Getting Sketchy
Hello, Bloggin' Buddies!
Yes, it has been a long time since I've posted. I have actually moved on to other things but a recent challenge by MFT had me so inspired that I dusted off my website to post my card. I haven't done a challenge in so long, but with the brunt of the holidays over I needed some new inspiration.
I have LOVED the MFT critters of so many years. For this card I used the set "Cute Critters" and, boy, are they! My theme came from one of the sentiments in the set "Sending You Hearts". The sweet paper is from the MFT "Plaid Patterns Merry & Bright" 6" x 6" tablet......so darn adorable. I colored the critters with Copics, added some foam squares and Stickles for dimension and sparkle, and added a handful of die-cute tiny hearts.
Thanks for the visit - come and play along!

Another Day at the Beach!
Hi, Bloggin' Buddies!!
As long as I had the cute MFT Beach Bungalow set and the colored card stock that goes with the current MFT Color Challenge out on my work table I decided to make another (but very different0 card with them. This time I paired up the set with the Beach Bungalow Accessories and the Shady Palm (I love those cute coconuts!) Die-Namics. Once again I used a sentiment from the Itty Bitty Summer sentiment set. I managed to get in all of the colors (Limelight is my very favorite!) plus I added a little black for some punch and some kraft for the tree and the sand.
Rather than using the plain die cuts as I did before, this time I gave them some added dimension with some ink blending, a touch of Copic coloring and some snippets of patterned paper. I sure love the result! I could play with this set all day long!
Have a terrific Summer! Thanks for the visit,

Beach Time!!
Hi, Bloggin' Buddies!
Here I go! I've been waiting for many cold months to be able to break out this adorable Beach Bungalow set from My Favorite Things. And, since I did, I decided to play along with the current Color Challenge which is to use some terrific spring colors : Limelight (my all-time favorite), Grapesicle, Summer Splash and Cotton Candy.
I used Summer Splash for my background which is stenciled with the MFT Slimline Cloud Edges stencil and I used the other colors on this cute little neighborhood of Beach Bungalows. I added some vellum behind the roof vents and I added some kraft sand. The sweet sentiment is from Itty Bitty Summer. I want to move right in!
Of course, I had to add a Limelight mini slimline envelope to make this complete.
Thanks for the visit!

A Selfie for Spring!
The current Weekly Sketch Challenge at My Favorite Things inspired me to get out several of my MFT products. Here is the sketch for the Challenge:
And here is my slimline card:I used one of my very favorite card stock colors, Limelight and a matching slimline envelope, the Polaroid Shaker Frame die and the adorable Picture Perfect stamp set. Love these fun critters! I colors them up with coin markers and embellished them with some Glossy Accents and die cut hearts.
You are welcome to join the Challenge.
Thanks for the visit,

Not an "Ugly Duckling" for sure.......
He is super cute! I don't know if kids ever read that story anymore, but I remember it.
Anyway, I have used the sweet Hero Arts Color Layering Duckling stamp and dies to make an Easter card. I used Hero Arts Butterball, Tangerine and Cup of Joe inks. The background is stenciled with clouds and the frame is all stenciled. This is headed for the current A Blog Named Hero challenge, "Animal Crackers". You have a few more days to play along!

Craizer then a......
Fox!
Today I am sharing a fun birthday card that I made for the Hero Arts "Stay Crafty with a Blog Named Hero" challenge for February which is "Animal Crackers". I have been a loyal fan and customer for Hero Arts since the very beginning (yes, I am old!) and I always will be. This crazy celebrating fox is from the Party Fox Stamp and Cut set. I am very into infinity shakers at the moment and I think that this guy is perfect for one.

More Bear Cuteness????
Oh, yes! I'm still making thank you cards here, so I am adding this to Reverse Confetti's current Stock Your Stash challenge, which is "thank you". I am a huge fan of Reverse Confetti's critters and I reach for them often.
Again, the weather here is nasty, so the photo isn't great because I rely on natural light - sorry!
For this cute little 4 Bar card I used a sweet bear from "The Bear Up There" stamp and die set. He is centered on a die cut from the Circle With Twist Tag Confetti Cuts and one from the center of the Large Detailed Circle Frame Confetti Cut that I used on yesterday's card. The perfect sentiment is from So Many Sentiments.
I added some Wink of Stella on the cloud and some Stickles on the stars. Love it!
Thanks for the visit and have a great day,
